With only 9 days to go until the new series of Doctor Who hits our tele box screens, the BBC have
given
an air time for Series 9 - 7.40pm. This means that our favourite sci-fi
programme will be wedged between Pointless and The National Lottery,
and up against ITV's staple The X Factor.
Opening with the first episode of
two-part story The Magician's Apprentice / The Witch's Familiar both written by Steven Moffat. The
synopsis is as follows...
“Where is the Doctor? When the skies of Earth are frozen by a mysterious alien force, Clara needs her friend. But where is the Doctor, and what is he hiding from? As past deeds come back to haunt him, old enemies will come face-to-face, and for the Doctor and Clara survival seems impossible…"
