Series One starts BBC Three repeat run tonight.

New Beginnings

Following its recent re-run of the entire fourth series of Doctor Who, digital channel BBC Three goes back in time tonight - to the very first episode of the revived show.

Starting with Rose, the channel will screen all 13 episodes of the series, starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper, during the next few weeks.

It won't be an uninterrupted run however, due to coverage of the Olympic Games, so be sure to check listings for full details.

We plan to launch a new area of the site that tracks the latest screenings and BBC iPlayer availability of episodes shortly. Stay tuned for more news on that.

If all goes to plan, full repeat runs of Series 2 and 3 are likely to follow in the autumn.

You can see Rose at 7pm tonight on BBC Three, followed by Doctor Who Confidential at 7.45pm.
