Mitchell: I'm too ugly for 'Doctor Who'

David Mitchell has declared that he would love to star in Doctor Who - but fears he is not pretty enough.
"I’d quite like to be Doctor Who and that’s the trouble," said the Peep Show star. "I don’t think I’d stand much chance. Nowadays they have to be attractive.
"In the old Doctor Who you couldn’t ever imagine any of them playing James Bond but in the new Doctor Who they’re all attractive.
"Tom Baker would never get off with Adric. He didn’t want that."
